🔄 We're freshening things up!
Practice Better is gradually rolling out a refreshed UI/UX design. You may notice that the navigation bar has moved from the top to the left side of the portal. As a result, some screenshots and images in our articles may not yet reflect the updated interface — but the steps and guidance are still accurate.
We're actively updating all articles and appreciate your patience in the meantime. If something looks different than what you see on screen, the functionality is the same — just with a fresh coat of paint.
Updates
- Insurance Billing Updates
- Superbills can now be used for non-US insurance billing by adjusting the Billing country under the Settings & Preferences > Insurance Billing page.
- The NPI number is now optional for US superbills.
- Set defaults for the Billing Provider (Line 33) and Accept Assignment (Line 27) fields for new CMS-1500 forms. These settings can be adjusted from your Insurance Billing settings page.
- Clients working with team plan users can now see a consolidated view of all docs shared by all practitioners on the team. This is the default view when navigating to the Documents section in the Client Portal. Clients can still view documents shared by a specific practitioner by clicking their name in the left navigation bar.
- UI/UX improvements
Fixes
- The "Repeat on" field is no longer required when creating weekly installment plans in your service/package/program settings. Weekly plans can now recur on the weekday that the client purchases the product.
- The manual Google Calendar sync will now sync sessions and events up to 6 months prior to the current date.
