Customer Advocates are active Practice Better customers who are passionate about our product and its impact on their practice. They are eager to share their success stories, engage in testimonials, and actively refer new users to our platform through their network of trusted professionals.

Sharing Your Referral Link
- Go to your Profile menu > Refer & Earn.
- Or click Refer & Earn from your Dashboard menu.
- Or click Refer & Earn from your Dashboard menu.
- Share your referral link through email, social, or by copying and pasting it.
- The recipient must use your referral link to sign up for a free trial of any paid plan.
- When eligibility is met, both parties can receive subscription credits. Read more about Eligibility & Conditions.
Getting Rewarded for Referrals
When your friend signs up and maintains a paid subscription for at least 31 days, you and your referral receive automatic credits that apply to future subscription payments.
Rewards are issued based on the active plan tier of the referee at the time of eligibility.

Referral Eligibility
- Your friend must use your unique referral link to sign up for a free trial of any paid plan.
- At the end of their free trial, their first payment must be successfully processed in order for them to become a paying customer.
- They must then remain on a paid plan for at least 31 consecutive days after that first payment.
- Once these conditions are met, credits will be issued to both you and your friend (applied in the referee’s second billing cycle).
Terms & Conditions
- Referrals not tracked through your referral link are not eligible for credits.
- Credits are issued only after the referral meets all of the above criteria.
- Self-referrals and duplicate accounts are not eligible.
- Each referral can only be credited once, but you can refer unlimited friends and earn credits for each successful referral.
When are my credits applied?
Credits are automatically issued 31 days after your referral starts a paid plan and meets the qualifying conditions.

What does this mean?
- For your friend (the referee): Credits will appear and be applied to their subscription payment in their second month as a paying customer.
- For you (the referrer): Your credits will be applied to your subscription at the same time your friend’s credits are applied, even though this may not be your second billing cycle.

Q: Does my referred friend also receive credits?
A: Yes! When your referral signs up for a paid plan, both you and your referee receive credits as part of the dual incentive program. Credits are applied in the referee’s second billing cycle.
Q: My friend signed up but didn’t use my referral link. Can I still receive credits?
A: No. To ensure proper tracking, referrals must sign up using your unique referral link. Signups not going through your link won't be eligible for referral credits.
Q: Can I refer more than one person?
A: Yes! You can refer as many practitioners as you’d like. There’s no limit to how many credits you can earn.
Q: Do credits expire?
A: No, credits do not expire. They’ll remain in your account until used toward your subscription.
Q: Can I cash out my credits instead of using them on my subscription?
A: No, credits are non-cash rewards and can only be applied toward your Practice Better subscription.
Q: What happens if my referred friend cancels their plan?
A: The referral reward won't be issued if your referral cancels during their first 30 days. Credits are only granted once the referee remains an active, paid customer past the qualifying period.
Q: Does my referred friend need to stay subscribed for more than 31 days?
They must remain on a paid plan for at least 31 days for both of you to earn credits.
Q: Do higher-tier plans give higher rewards?
A: Yes. The credits scale is based on the plan your referee chooses. Referring someone on a higher-tier plan (Plus or Team) earns you more credits.
Q: Can I combine credits from multiple referrals?
A: Yes! All earned credits stack and will be applied automatically to your next subscription payments until they are used up.
Q: What happens if my subscription cost is less than my credits?
A: If your credits exceed your subscription payment for the month, the remaining balance will roll over to future payments until it’s used.
Q: Can I refer people to the free Sprout plan?
A: No, referrals only count if your referred friend converts to a paid plan after their free trial.
Q: What if me or my referral is on the Starter Annual plan?
A: Credits will still be issued to eligible parties and will be applied to the next annual subscription invoice according to the individual’s billing cycle.
Q: I have a PartnerStack account from the old referral program. What should I do now?
A: You can still log in to your PartnerStack account to view historical referral data and metrics. However, you no longer need to use PartnerStack to retrieve your referral link—everything is now built directly into your Practice Better account under Refer & Earn.
Q: What happens if I referred someone before August 21st, 2025, and they are still in their free trial?
A: Referrals who began their free trial before August 21st, 2025, will be rewarded under the previous referral program. If they meet the eligibility criteria, the referrer will receive a one-time commission payout based on the old structure. All referrals starting on or after August 21st, 2025 are part of the redesigned Customer Advocate Program.
