Using Google Account Sign In

Google Sign In is a convenient way to use your existing Google account credentials to sign into Practice Better. Once Google Sign In is set up, you'll have the option of signing into Practice Better using this method or by using your existing username and password you provided during registration.

Security FAQ

• Is my Practice Better account information or client data shared with Google?
  No. Setting up and signing into Google from Practice Better is a one-way process where we send a request to Google to verify your identity. Learn more about this process.
  
  
• Does Practice Better store my Google password?
  No. The Google Sign In feature is simply used to verify your identity. Practice Better never has access to your Google password. The security of your Google Account will not be compromised by signing in to Practice Better.
  
  
• Do I need to use my Google email address as my Practice Better email/username?
  No. You can continue to use your existing email address (e.g. wendy@wendypractitioner.com) and password combination. We simply add your Google ID as another authentication option in our records.No two Practice Better users can share the same Google account sign in.
  

Linking my Google Account

Step 1. Sign in with your existing Practice Better email and password

You must first sign into Practice Better with your existing password to set up your Google Account Sign In. After signing in, navigate to Settings > Login Options:

Client Page: https://client.practicebetter.io/#/u/profile/integrations

Step 2. Link your Google account to your Practice Better account

Under Login Options, click the "Link" button to the right of the Google panel. This will take you to a new browser window where you will be asked to sign in to Google. After signing into Google you'll be automatically redirected to Practice Better to complete the setup. 

Unlinking your Google Account

Click Unlink to remove your Google Sign in from your Practice Better account. 

Signing in with Google

On the Practice Better sign in page, you'll now have the option of using Google Sign In. Click the Sign in with Google button at the bottom of the Sign in page.

You can click this button without filling in your Practice Better credentials above it.

If you're not currently logged into Google, a new window may appear requesting your Google credentials. This new window will automatically close once you've signed in successfully.
