How Charges Appear on Your Statement
Starting with your next billing cycle after August 29, 2025, charges from Practice Better will display as: PRACTICE BETTER
Previously, you may have seen your plan name included (e.g., BETTER - PLUS PLAN). This update makes it quicker and easier to identify your subscription charges without confusion.

Billing Cycles
Did you upgrade from Professional to Plus plan and believe you've been charged "twice"? Read on to see how we process payments and explain this common scenario.
Practice Better only processes payments once per billing cycle. This means that upgrades from Pro to Plus plans, refunds, and any adjustments will be processed in your next billing cycle.
Here is an example breakdown of how upgrades are processed:

The refund amount and upgrade charge are calculated based on the time remaining in the billing cycle and may be slightly less than the original subscription amount.
If you downgrade in the middle of your billing cycle, you'll be credited for the unused time on the higher tier plan. The credit will reduce the charge on your next subscription invoice.
Purchasing Credits during an Upgrade Cycle
If you've upgraded from one paid plan to another paid plan (e.g. Professional to Plus), you may also be charged for the adjustments due to proration when purchasing credits during the current billing cycle.
Let's say your billing cycle starts on January 1st and you're currently on the Professional Plan. You then decide to upgrade to the Plus Plan on January 15th.
Your next billing cycle (February 1st) would typically include the amount associated with the time spent on the Plus Plan during January (15th-31st), minus the time you did not spend on the Professional Plan in January (15th-31st).
Let's say this prorated adjustment is $15. This pending charge will be added to your account near the end of January to be included in your February 1st invoice.
If you decide to purchase $5 in credits on January 29th, for example, the total payment for the purchased credits will be $20 ($5 for the credits + $15 adjustment for the upgrade).
