This article provides instructions on how to link That Clean Life to Practice Better. This integration will allow you to share these resources with your clients directly in your Practice Better Portal. These can be added to protocols and program modules.
This integration is available to anyone who has a Practice Better and a That Clean Life account.

Linking your That Clean Life Account
Finding your access token
To link That Clean Life to Practice Better, you will first need to generate an access token in That Clean Life
- Log in to That Clean Life and click on your profile in the top right corner.

Click on Your Profile > Integrations and then click Generate Token.
- Enter a name for the token and click Generate Token.

You can then copy the access token to be used in your Practice Better account.

Linking That Clean Life to Practice Better
Log in to your Practice Better account and go to Settings > 3rd party integrations. Scroll down to That Clean Life in the Nutrition section and click Link.
Paste the access token you copied from That Clean Life and click Link.
Linking on the Team Plan
On the Team Plan, each practitioner on your team has the ability to link their own That Clean Life account.
If your team shares the same That Clean Life account, it's also possible for all team members to link to the same account. When sharing an account, it is recommended that you generate a unique token for each team member.
Note: If you are using the same token for multiple practitioners on your team, the token will be deactivated if any practitioner unlinks That Clean Life from their Practice Better account.
Adding That Clean Life Resources to a Protocol
Once linked, you can share meal plans, collections, templates, and recipes as part of a protocol for a client, or they can be added to a template.
When working on a protocol, you can add resources by clicking Add recipes and meal plans.
You will then see a pop-up that displays meal plans, recipes, collections, and templates that are available to you in That Clean Life.
Adding Resources to a Program Module
You will also be able to add your resources to a program module.
To add these to your modules, you can edit your module, select the Nutrition Plans tab at the top, and then select Add nutrition plan.
Creating a Nutrition Plan
You can search for resources using the search bar at the top of this window or filter by resource type and tag.
You can view the details of a resource by clicking View on the right side.
You can select the resources you would like to share and click Next. Here, you can name the nutrition plan and make adjustments.
Allow Edits will allow your clients to make edits to their meal plans or collections. This means they can swap recipes within the meal plan with available recipes in the collection.
Any Edits the client makes to a Meal Plan in a Protocol or Module will not affect your Meal Plan in That Clean Life
Allow Exports will allow your clients to export their Meal Plans. They will receive the export as a PDF file in an email.
If you have enabled Export delivery receipts in That Clean Life, you will be notified by email when clients export their Meal Plans.
You can also click the Click Delete (trash can icon) icon next to the resource to remove it from the nutrition plan, or you can click Add more at the bottom left to add additional resources.
This page will also show you the different Embeds that will be created within the protocol/module. Collections will be embedded separately, and meal plans/modules will be combined.
Once you’re ready to add the nutrition plan to the protocol, click Confirm.
For protocols specifically, you can click Save Recommendation so you can reuse it with other clients.

Please note that your clients will need access to the Food & Mood journal to be able to see nutrient details from a nutrition plan. For more information on how you can grant your clients access to journals, click here.
Client Logging in Journals
Once you have shared resources with your clients, any recipes you share will become available recipe options in your client’s Food & Mood Journal.
When logging a journal entry, they can select the Shared Recipes tab to find a list of all the resources you shared with them.
They will be able to click on any of these resources to add it to their journal.
