Locating Your Payments Dashboard
You can easily access your Payments Dashboard through two convenient pathways:
- Go to Settings (gear icon) > Payments Dashboard
- Or visit My Practice > Billing & Payments > Payments Dashboard tab.
This centralized hub puts all your payment management tools at your fingertips, making it simple to stay on top of your financial operations.
You can also use the Payments Dashboard to order and connect your WisePOS terminal reader for in-person transactions and access the Stripe dashboard for additional visibility and support.
Understanding your Stripe Account Status
The status of your Stripe account is displayed at the top right of your Payments Dashboard.
The Payments Dashboard will display one of the Stripe account statuses listed below. In your portal, you can hover over the text to view what the status means and any steps required to remediate your account.
📍 Note: Account status alerts appear prominently at the top of each dashboard section. Responding promptly to these alerts prevents payment disruptions and maintains smooth operations for your practice.
Possible status badges

- Complete: Your account operates at full capacity with no additional requirements.
- Enabled: Good standing maintained, though additional information may be requested when payment thresholds are reached.
- Pending Enabled: Stripe is reviewing your account, and status updates automatically upon completion. No action is required.
- Pending Disabled: Account under review with automatic status updates following Stripe's assessment. No action is required.
- Restricted soon: Action required before the due date to provide additional information. Click View in Stripe to view and supply the additional information required through the Stripe Dashboard.
- Restricted: Payouts or payments are currently disabled. Click View in Stripe for more information on steps to remediate the account.
- Rejected: Account application has been declined or rejected. Click View in Stripe, then select "Actions required” in the Stripe Dashboard for more details.

Balance & Payouts
The Balance & Payouts section provides complete visibility into your financial flow, from pending transactions to scheduled deposits into your bank account.
Viewing Your Financial Summary
Your dashboard displays three key financial metrics:
- Total Balance: Combined view of pending and available funds.
- Funds on Hold: Amounts temporarily held by Stripe for security purposes.
- Upcoming Deposits: Funds scheduled for transfer to your destination bank account.
Updating Payout Settings
When you need to modify your deposit schedule or banking information, follow these straightforward steps:
- From your Balance & Payouts tab of the Payments Dashboard, click See details.
- Click the Update payout settings button.
- After clicking Update payout settings, you can adjust the options under Schedule to change when and how frequently you receive payouts.

Under Destination you can view and update your destination bank account (where funds from payment processing are deposited).
📍 Note: Updating your destination bank account requires signing into your Stripe account for security verification. This extra step protects your financial information and ensures funds reach the correct account.
Payments & Disputes
The Payments & Disputes section empowers you to maintain detailed oversight of all transaction activity while responding effectively to any payment challenges.
Exporting Transaction Data
Generate comprehensive payment reports by clicking Export and specifying your desired date range and data fields. This feature proves invaluable for accounting, tax preparation, and business analysis.
- From your Balance & Payouts tab of the Payments Dashboard, click Export.
- Specify your desired date range and the columns of information you require or desire.

Filtering and Monitoring Transactions
Click on the respective Filter buttons to organize transactions by:
- Status: Identify completed, pending, or disputed payments.
- Amount: Sort by transaction value.
- Payment Method: Separate card payments, ACH transfers, and other methods.
- Date: Arrange chronologically for specific time periods.
Managing Payment Disputes
In the Payments & Disputes tab of your Payments Dashboard, use the Status filter to check for Disputed transactions.
⚠️ Important: Regularly check for disputed transactions using the Status filter. Quick response times significantly improve your chances of successfully resolving disputes and protecting your revenue.
When disputes arise, your Stripe dashboard provides direct access to evidence submission and communication tools. Swift action demonstrates professionalism and often leads to favorable outcomes for legitimate transactions.
