You can locate the Payments Dashboard by clicking your Settings (gear icon) > Payments Dashboard or from My Practice > Billing & Payments > Payments Dashboard tab.
This dashboard allows you to easily monitor your account status, funds, and transactions in one place. You can also use the Payments Dashboard to order and connect your WisePOS terminal reader for in-person transactions and access the Stripe dashboard for additional visibility and support.
The following information is available in the Payments Dashboard:
Account status alerts are displayed at the top of each section in the dashboard. It's important to promptly respond to any alerts to prevent payment disruptions or delays. For more information on the six account statuses, refer to the "Status badges" section in this Stripe article.
Status of Your Stripe Account
The status of your Stripe account is displayed at the top right of each tab in your Payments Dashboard.
The Payments Dashboard will display one of the Stripe account statuses listed below. You can hover over the text to view what the status means and any steps required to remediate your account.
Possible statuses:
- Restricted: Payouts or payments are disabled. Click View in Stripe for more information on steps to remediate the account.
- Restricted soon: Account has a due date for providing additional information. Click View in Stripe to view and supply the additional information required in the Stripe Dashboard.
- Pending Enabled: Account is being reviewed by Stripe and the status will automatically update once the review is complete. No action is required.
- Pending Disabled: Account is being reviewed by Stripe and the status will automatically update once the review is complete. No action is required.
- Enabled: Account is in good standing but more information may be required when a payment volume threshold is reached.
- Complete: Account is in good standing and no additional information is required.
- Rejected: Account has been rejected. Click View in Stripe then select "Actions required” in the Stripe Dashboard for more details.
Recommendation: Check the status of your Stripe account regularly to prevent disruptions to your ability to process payments or receive payouts.

For customers migrating from Square to Practice Better Payments, this status only refers to the status of your Stripe account and not the status of your Square to Practice Better Payments migration. The migration status can be viewed on the Square Migration Tracker in your Square Migration tab. Learn more.
Balance & Payouts
Monitor your total balance (pending plus available funds), funds on hold, and funds that will soon be deposited into your destination bank account.
To view and edit account information, including your payout (deposit) schedule and destination bank account, follow these steps.
- Click See details
- Click Update
- After clicking Update, you can adjust the options under Schedule to update your payout schedule.
- Use Destination to view and update your destination bank account (where funds from payment processing are deposited).
When updating your destination bank account, you will be prompted to sign into your Stripe account.
Payments & Disputes
Export, monitor, and respond to transaction statuses within the Payments & Disputes section of the Payments Dashboard.
Click Export to download payment data by date range and information required or desired.
Click Filters to sort transactions by Amount, Date, Status, and Payment Method.
Use the Status filter to check for Disputed transactions regularly to ensure your business responds quickly and provides evidence refuting illegitimate claims. Learn more about disputes and chargebacks, including how to prevent them, here: Ways to prevent chargebacks
