Practice Better doesn't integrate directly with Apple Calendar, but you can view your Apple events alongside your Practice Better schedule by routing them through Google Calendar. This article walks you through the full setup.
📍 Please note: Google Calendar may sync with Apple Calendar in near real time. We're unable to troubleshoot sync issues between Apple and Google.
In this article:
- Step 1: Getting the Apple Calendar share link (webcal URL)
- Step 2: Adding Your Apple Calendar to Google Calendar
- Step 3: Syncing Google Calendar (Including Practice Better Sessions) Back to Apple Calendar
Step 1: Getting The Apple Calendar Share Link (Webcal URL)
To connect your Apple Calendar to Google Calendar, you'll first need to generate a shareable webcal link. You can do this from your iPhone or iPad, or from iCloud.com on a desktop browser.
💡 Privacy note: Turning on Public Calendar creates a shareable webcal link. Anyone with the link can view events on that calendar.
Option 1: iPhone or iPad
- Open the Calendar app on your device.
- Tap the Calendars button at the bottom of the screen.
- Under the iCloud section, tap the Info (i) button to the right of the calendar you'd like to connect.
- Turn on Public Calendar, then tap Share Link.
- Copy or email the link to yourself so you can use it on your computer in Step 2.
- Repeat for any additional calendars as needed.
Option 2: iCloud.com (Desktop)
- Go to www.icloud.com and log in.
- Open Calendar.
- Hover over the calendar name in the left panel, then click the share button (circle icon).
- Turn on Public Calendar to reveal the link.
- Click Copy, then click Save.
Step 2: Adding Your Apple Calendar to Google Calendar
- On your computer, open calendar.google.com
- In the left panel, next to Other calendars, click the plus (+) button and select From URL.
- Paste the webcal:// link you copied from your Apple Calendar, then click Add calendar. Your Apple events will appear shortly.
- (Optional) To rename the imported calendar, click the More Options menu (3 dots) next to it under Other calendars, then go to Settings > Name.
✅ Once your Google Calendar is connected to Practice Better, your Apple events will appear in Practice Better's My Calendar and flag conflicts when you book sessions.
