Sending or Resending a Client Invitation Email
You can send an invitation when creating a new client.
- Go to My Clients
- Click the Fast Action Button in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Create profile and invite client to join Practice Better.
- When you click Add to finalize saving the client, an invitation will be sent to them to activate their client account.
If you have already created a client in your account, you can send or resend an invitation to join Practice Better by following these steps:
From the My Clients page
- Go to My Clients and select the (Re)send Invitation option in the More Options menu beside your client's name.
- This will send an email to your client with instructions on how to set up their account.

The client should click the Activate My Account button in the email, which redirects them to a page to set up their login and password for accessing the Client Portal.
Note: Advise clients to check their junk mail folder if they do not see the invitation email.
From the Client Record
- Go to your client record's Recent Activity page.

Click the airplane icon just under their name to send or resend an invitation.
Copy and Send an Invitation Link
After sending the invitation, you can also obtain a direct invitation link:
- Go to My Clients and select the Get Invitation link option in the More Options menu beside your client's name.
- Copy and paste the link to share it with your client directly in an email outside of Practice Better.
Sending Invitations to Multiple Clients
To send invitations to multiple clients at once:
- From your My Clients page, click Select multiple in the top-right corner.
- Select the clients you wish to invite by checking the checkboxes beside their names.
- Click Send/resend invitations in the top-right corner.
Note: Invitations cannot be sent to prospective clients, deactivated clients, or clients who have already activated their accounts.
Revoking an Invitation
If you need to revoke an invitation sent in error:
- Click the three dots next to the client's name on your My Clients page.
- Select Revoke invitation from the options provided.
Resetting Your Client's Password
If you do not see the option to resend your client's invitation, it may be because they have already activated their account.
