Accessing Practice Better from the Web
We recommend using the latest Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge browsers when using Practice Better on your desktop.
Practice Better also fully supports the latest browsers on your Android and Apple mobile devices and tablets. If you purchased your device within the last 3 years, you should have no problems using the platform.

Cookies and Local Storage
Practice Better requires your browser to support both cookies and local storage. We use these mechanisms to provide additional security while you're using the platform.
Telehealth Video on Mobile Devices
If you are joining a Telehealth session in a mobile browser on your phone or tablet, ensure you are using these minimum supported operating systems:
iPhone/iPad (Safari): iOS 12.2 or higher
Android (Chrome): Android OS 8.0 or higher

Using the Practice Better Mobile App
The Practice Better mobile app is available for iOS and Android. App speed and performance depend on your device, operating system version, and internet connection strength.
System Requirements
To download and install the app, your device must meet the following minimum requirements:
- iPhone/iPad: iOS 12.2 or higher.
- Android: Android OS 8.0 or higher, with a 64-bit operating system.

Android 64-Bit Requirement
As of June 5, 2026, the Practice Better Android app requires a 64-bit operating system to receive updates. This change was required to meet updated Google Play Store policies, and there is no change to the minimum Android OS version.
Older or budget Android devices, including some Samsung Galaxy A-series and J-series phones, Samsung Galaxy Tab A, Motorola Moto E, Motorola Moto G Pure, and similar models, may be affected.
✅ You can still access Practice Better through the browser on your mobile device at my.practicebetter.io using your existing login credentials.
If your device is not compatible, here is what to expect:
- Your existing app version continues to work normally.
- Your Practice Better data is safe. All information is stored securely in your Practice Better portal and is not affected by this change.
- Your device won't receive future app updates, new features, or bug fixes.
- Practitioners: Your account remains fully accessible. No changes have been made to your account, settings, or data.
- Clients: Your account access is set by your practitioner and is unchanged.
💡 Tip: If you upgrade to a new Android device that supports 64-bit software, download the Practice Better app from the Google Play Store and sign in with your existing credentials to pick up right where you left off.
Troubleshooting a Slow or Unresponsive App
If your app is running slowly or not responding, try the following steps:
- Quit and reopen the Practice Better app.
- Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
- Delete and reinstall the Practice Better app.
- Check your wifi connection strength, or switch to a mobile data connection.
- Restart your phone.
- Ensure your phone's operating system is updated to the latest version.
