Available on all plans: You can set a Reply-To email address on any Practice Better plan.
-
Set one so replies reach you: Automated emails are sent from notifications@practicebetter.io. Without a Reply-To, a client's reply does not reach you or Practice Better support. The client receives a bounce message that says the address was not found.
-
The Reply-To changes where replies go, not who sends the email: Your clients still see your name as the sender and notifications@practicebetter.io as the sending address. Only the reply goes to your Reply-To. You cannot change the sending address. Sender name, email header, and email signature are in the same Email Options section and need a Plus plan or higher. - Enter one email address: The Reply-To field accepts a single email address and does not check it for typos. Any email address works, so confirm yours is correct before you save.
Setting Up Your Reply-To Email Address
- Go to Settings > Notification Options > Client Notifications.
- In the Email Options section, enter your email address in the Reply-to email address field.
- Click Save Changes.

- On a Team plan, choose Save changes for me or Save and apply to team.
When a client replies to an automated email from their email app, their reply goes to the address you entered.
Applying Your Reply-To to Your Team
On a Team plan, Save changes for me updates your own Reply-To only. Save and apply to team applies your email settings to every team member in your account.
- Follow the steps above to enter your Reply-To email address.
- Click Save and apply to team.
- In the Update Team Email Preferences pop-up, click Update all to continue, or Cancel to go back.
⚠️ Important: Save and apply to team replaces each team member's reply-to, sender name, header, signature, and email templates with yours. Use it only when you want the same email settings across your whole team.
