Note cosigning - A supervising practitioner can now add a cosignature to a session note that another team member has already signed, allowing supervised staff (such as interns or associates) to have their clinical documentation formally signed off.
- Cosigning doesn't reopen or change the note — it stays read-only, and the original content is preserved exactly as the first practitioner signed it
- The signed PDF is regenerated to include both signatures, each with the signer's name and timestamp, and both signers appear on the client's Notes History
- You can optionally create a cosign task asking a specific practitioner to cosign a note; the task is completed automatically once they do
- The activity log records who cosigned and when, and a new cosigned column is added to the "Incomplete & Unsigned Notes" report and the client record notes export
- Cosigning is a Team plan feature and requires a new supervisory signing permission. Team owners have this permission automatically; other practitioners must be granted it before they can cosign. A practitioner can't cosign their own notes.
