Q: Why is the price increasing?
A: We don’t make pricing changes lightly. This update helps us continue investing in the features, integrations, and support you rely on to run your practice. Every update is shaped by feedback from our incredible community, focused on making your day-to-day simpler and more effective. Explore some of the most-loved improvements we’ve made.
We remain committed to delivering more value with every release, so you can spend less time on admin and more time supporting your clients.
Q: When are these changes happening?
A: For existing Practice Better customers, and those currently on a free trial, the new pricing goes into effect on October 9, 2025 and will be reflected in your first billing cycle on or after that date. If you make any changes to your plan starting July 9, 2025, the new pricing will apply immediately.
Q: Is there anything I need to do?
A: No action is needed if you’d like to continue with your current plan—your subscription will renew automatically at the new price, on October 9, 2025, or on your first billing cycle after October 9, 2025. If you’d like to explore other plan options, you can make changes to your account settings anytime.
Q: Are we changing the plans / adding new features to the plans?
A: Yes, we are continuing to enhance your plan with powerful new features and expanded value—at no extra cost to you.
For Plus plan members:
- You can now add up to 3 Practice Admins for free (previously, only 1 was included and each extra cost $10/month)
- You now get unlimited storage per practitioner (up from 10GB)
For Team plan members:
- You now get unlimited Practice Admins at no additional cost (previously, only 2 were included and each extra was $10/month)
- You also have unlimited storage per practitioner (up from 15GB)
These upgrades will be live in your account on July 17. Plus, we’re rolling out even more enhancements soon—like our ePrescribe integration with DrFirst (US only) and enhanced journaling tools to help clients stay engaged between sessions.
Q: What improvements can our users expect in the future?
A: We’re continuing to invest in features that help you save time, reduce admin, and support clients more effectively. Here’s a sneak peek of a couple of the more immediate improvements that are coming down the line: preview of what’s coming soon:

These updates are guided by feedback from our community—so you can expect tools that actually make a difference in your day-to-day.
Q: How does this impact those who still have legacy pricing?
A: If you’re on a legacy plan, your current pricing won’t change so long as you remain on your current plan. You’re locked into your existing rate for the duration of your subscription to your legacy plan and will continue to have access to all the features in your current plan
If you upgrade, downgrade, or switch plans at any point after July 9, 2025, you’ll move to our current pricing and will no longer have access to legacy rates. If you’re happy with your current setup, no action is needed.
