Building Protocol Templates
Protocols are comprehensive groups of recommendations designed to help a client achieve a specific health goal. Protocol Templates combine food, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations that you frequently prescribe, making it easy to deliver consistent care across similar client situations.
To create a Protocol Template:
- Go to My Practice > Protocol Templates.
- Click the Fast Action Button in the bottom right corner.
- Select Create New.
- Build your protocol by adding the specific recommendations your clients need to succeed.
Enabling Client Journals
Practice Better Journals empower your clients to track comprehensive health data while giving you the insights you need to guide their progress and build lasting accountability. The journal system includes multiple entry types and wearable integrations that clients can use to monitor various aspects of their health and wellness.
Clients can log a variety of data, including food intake, mood patterns, physical activity, hydration, bowel movements, body measurements, and sleep quality. You have complete control over which entry types are available to each client, allowing you to customize tracking based on their specific needs and goals.
Once your clients begin journaling, you'll be able to review their entries to ensure they're staying on track. You can also add comments directly to journal entries – a meaningful way to provide encouragement, answer questions, and offer coaching that keeps clients accountable between sessions.
Managing Client Tasks
Staying organized is essential to effective client care, and Practice Better's task management features help you keep track of important to-do items. You can assign tasks to ensure that clients provide the necessary information, documents, or actions to support their journey.
Clients can mark tasks as completed, add comments to provide context, and attach relevant documents – all within the platform. This creates a seamless flow of communication and accountability.
