Signing up for a Natural Dispensary Account
Natural Dispensary serves practitioners and clients in the UK, with international shipping available where customs permit. Visit this link to register your account or follow the steps below.
From your Practice Better account:
- To sign up for a Natural Dispensary account, go to Settings & Preferences > 3rd Party Integration.
- Under the Supplement Dispensaries section, click the More Options menu (3 dots) next to Natural Dispensary, then select Sign up.
Verifying Your Practitioner Account
Your Natural Dispensary account must be verified as a practitioner account to share supplement recommendations with clients. You can share proof of your practitioner status by submitting your 3-year diploma or degree in Nutrition within their registration form.
Once your Practitioner Key is available in your Natural Dispensary account, you can proceed with linking the integration to Practice Better — even if verification is still in progress.
Linking Natural Dispensary to Practice Better
Connecting your accounts creates a seamless workflow between your Practice Better protocols and Natural Dispensary's product catalog. Each practitioner on your team will need to link their own personal Natural Dispensary account with their Practice Better account.
Follow these steps to establish the connection:
- Go to Settings > 3rd Party Integration by clicking the Settings & Preferences icon in the top-right corner of your portal.
- Click Link next to the Natural Dispensary Integration.
- A popup will appear requesting your Natural Dispensary email address and Practitioner Key. Locate your Secret Key on the My Account page in your Natural Dispensary account.
- Copy the key and paste it, along with your Natural Dispensary account email, into the pop-up in your Practice Better portal, then click Link to continue.
📍 Please note: Your Secret Key is a static credential that creates a one-to-one integration between your Natural Dispensary account and Practice Better. This key cannot be edited after setup.
- Once your account is linked, you can configure default settings for new protocols, including an optional default promo code that will automatically apply to client orders created in Practice Better.
Making Supplement Recommendations using Natural Dispensary
Practice Better's Protocol feature makes it easy to create personalized supplement recommendations that your clients can purchase directly through Natural Dispensary.
Creating a New Protocol with Supplement Recommendations
- Open the Protocols section of your client's file, then click the Fast Action Button in the bottom right-hand corner.
💡 Tip: You can also create Protocol Templates under My Practice > Protocol Templates to save time with clients who need similar supplement plans.
- In the Protocol editing page, click Add supplement recommendation.
- Search for products from your Natural Dispensary catalog.
- After selecting a supplement, set the recommended dose, frequency, and duration based on your client's individual needs, and click Done near the top-right.
- Once you've saved the supplement details, it will appear on the protocol summary page with a Natural Dispensary badge for easy identification.
Customizing Supplement Settings
- Enable the option to Create a Natural Dispensary shopping cart when the protocol is published. You can apply a client discount at this stage by entering a promo code.
📍 Please note: If you've created custom promo codes in your Natural Dispensary account, you can enter them here to provide additional discounts beyond your default setting. Each protocol can have its own unique promo code.
- Click the check box to Import this supplement into your client’s medical history when the protocol is published. Learn more about using the client record Medication and Supplement Tracker →
- Click Save > Save and publish to share your protocol with your client.
When you publish a protocol, Practice Better automatically creates a shopping cart in Natural Dispensary containing your recommended supplements. Natural Dispensary will send a separate email to your client with instructions for placing an order.
Client Notifications
Your clients receive clear guidance through two coordinated notifications when you publish a protocol with Natural Dispensary supplements.
What Your Clients Will Receive
From Practice Better: A "New Protocol Available" email that includes a link to view the complete protocol in their Client Portal. Clients can review all supplement recommendations, dosing instructions, and your personalized notes — regardless of whether they choose to order through Natural Dispensary.
From Natural Dispensary: A separate Shopping Cart email with a direct link to checkout with your recommended supplements. The dispensary applies your practitioner discount at checkout, making it easy for clients to complete their purchase.
Client Ordering Experience
Clients will need to create an account on the Natural Dispensary website to place an order, which typically requires your name as their practitioner for account association. The checkout process is designed to be straightforward, with your dispensary discount automatically applied at the end. Natural Dispensary handles payment processing, shipping, and customer support for all orders.
📍 Please note: If a product becomes unavailable or out of stock after you've published a protocol, clients may see this reflected when they visit their shopping cart. Practice Better doesn't send automatic notifications about product availability changes.
Managing Your Integration
Tracking Client Orders

Unlinking Your Account
If you need to disconnect your Natural Dispensary integration, you can do so from the 3rd Party Integration page. Your previously published protocols will remain intact and visible to clients, though they won't be able to access new shopping carts.
⚠️ Important: If you unlink Natural Dispensary and then attempt to save Protocols that include Natural Dispensary supplements, Practice Better will display a warning message indicating incompatible supplement recommendations.
