Before You Begin
- Shortcuts are available in the Practice Better mobile app on iPhone. Download the app from the App Store if you haven't already.
- You need to be signed in to the app before shortcuts appear.
- Press and hold works on iPhones with 3D Touch (iPhone 6S or later) or Haptic Touch (iPhone 11 or later).
- The shortcuts you see depend on whether you're signed in as a practitioner or a client.
- Shortcuts launch an action from your iPhone Home Screen. They're separate from the Fast Action Button, which appears inside the app after it opens, and from desktop Keyboard Shortcuts and Text Snippets. Learn more in the Resources section below.
Opening Shortcuts From the App Icon

- Press and hold the Practice Better icon until the shortcut menu opens.
- Tap the shortcut you want to open it directly in the app.
📍 Note: The menu also includes iPhone options such as Edit Home Screen, Share App, Require Face ID, and Remove App. Apple provides these options for every app. They aren't Practice Better shortcuts.
