Consistent and accurate data entry is essential for tracking client progress and making informed decisions about their health journey. You can encourage clients to regularly update their Measurements & Vitals for the best results.
As historical data becomes available, practitioners can analyze trends in the client’s Measurements & Vitals to better inform their treatment plan.
Measurements & Vitals data can be populated Automatically through the client’s Lifestyle Journal entries or Manually by the practitioner.

Auto-populating Measurements & Vitals Data
Practitioners can enable automatic data population from a client’s Lifestyle Journal entries.
How to Enable Auto-population

Go to My Clients and double-click on a client's name.

Click on the Journals link in the left navigation bar.

Click the Journal Settings button near the top-right.

Click the check box beside Auto-import measurements.

Your updates will be saved automatically.
Importing Existing Measurements from Journals
You can import previously recorded journal entries into the client’s Measurements & Vitals section.
How to Import Measurements

Go to My Clients and double-click on a client's name.

Click on the Journals link in the left navigation bar.

Click the Journal Settings button near the top-right.

Click the More Options button (three dots) next to Measurement Entries.

Select Import measurements from the options.

Confirm that you want to import the measurements and click Import.
Manually Adding Measurements & Vitals Data
Practitioners can manually record client measurements in the Measurements & Vitals section.
How to Add Data Manually
- From the Practice Better dashboard, open the client record.
- Click on the Measurements & Vitals section.
- Use the date picker to select the date the measurement was taken.
- Choose between the two tabs for measurement types: Body & Vitals, or Blood.
- Enter the numerical value for the selected measurement in the provided field.
- Click Save Changes to record the measurement in the client record.
