We recommend creating a personal event when you need to set up a virtual meeting with participants outside of Practice Better or your team members. This adds the benefit of blocking off time if the event falls within your regular availability.
Creating a Personal Event
1. Go to My Schedule > My Calendar
2. Select Add an event from the Fast Action Button in the bottom-right corner:
3. Enable the Create a Zoom meeting for this event option. If this is a meeting with team members, you can choose to invite active members of the team using the drop-down menu:
4. If this is a recurring meeting, you also have the option to set this as an ongoing event.
You will need to check the box titled, This event recurs. You can then set how often the meetings will occur and save the event.
Upon event creation, an email notification will automatically be sent to the invited members, and a notification will be sent within the portal. Invited members will also receive these notifications if the event is updated.
Viewing the event
Once the session is created, you can click on the event from your calendar to view more details. You will see the organizer listed, as well as any invitees. You can easily share your Zoom meeting details by clicking Copy Zoom Invite in the event details popup:
Depending on your permissions, you will also see the option to Edit the event. If you are not the organizer, you will have the option to Decline the event as well as the entries series if it's a recurring event.
