If you have multiple profiles linked to your email, you can easily switch between profiles without having to sign out.
Switching client profiles is available in the mobile app or on desktop when logged in through the generic Practice Better URL (my.practicebetter.io).
For example, in a family record, Mary (the parent) is the primary record, and Susan (her child) is the sub-record. Let's say Mary wants to book a session on behalf of her child, Stanley. To do this, Mary can switch from her personal profile to Stanley's profile in the Client Portal without logging out.
Switching Profiles in the Web Portal (Browser)
In the top right corner of the toolbar, click or tap on the profile image. A menu will appear with an option to Switch Profile. Click Switch Profile to view resources and book sessions for another client set up under the same email:
- In the top right corner of the toolbar, click or tap on your profile image.
- Click on the Switch Profile option to view other profiles linked to your email.
- A screen will display all available profiles. Select the profile you want to switch to (e.g., Stanley's profile).
Switching Profiles on the Mobile App
- Tap the Hamburger Menu icon (three horizontal lines) located at the top left corner of the app.
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu. The Switch Profile button is located just above the Sign Out button.
- Tap Switch Profile to see a list of profiles linked to your email. Choose the profile you want to switch to (e.g., Stanley's profile).
- After switching, you can book sessions or manage resources for the selected profile.
