The mass sharing tool gives you a faster way to manage sharing settings across all your resources at once, rather than updating them one by one. Any team member with the appropriate permissions can use it, and it's available on all Team Plan tiers.

Accessing The Mass Sharing Tool
- Go to My Profile > My Team.
- Scroll past your Roles & Permissions to the Resource Sharing section.
You'll see a table listing all resource types in your account, along with their current sharing status.
Managing Sharing by Section

Click a resource section to expand it and view individual resources and their current sharing status.
📍 Note: Resources created by other team members display a label with the creator's name.
- Click Edit next to the section name to open the sharing settings window.

Use the Share all with... dropdown to apply the same sharing setting to every resource in that section.
💡 If you want individual resources within a section to have different sharing settings, set Share all with... to Custom and then configure each resource individually within the pop-up.
- Click Save.
✅ All set: Updating sharing settings takes effect immediately. If you change a section to Private, team members lose access to those resources right away.
Editing All Sections at Once
To update sharing settings across multiple resource types in one pass:
- Click Edit all in the top-right of the Resource Sharing section.
- In the pop-up, check off the resource sections you want to update.
- Click Next. Practice Better will walk you through each selected section so you can adjust sharing settings for the resources within it.
- Click Save after completing all sections.
Accessing Mass Sharing from Resource Pages
You don't have to start from the My Team page. You can also access mass sharing directly from individual resource pages.
For example, on the My Practice > My Services page, look for the share icon to the right of your service list. Clicking it opens the same sharing settings window, scoped to that resource type.
