Diagnosis codes can be saved to your services and clients' medical history if you are routinely seeing them for specific conditions. These codes can be automatically inserted into session notes, superbills, and CMS-1500 forms.

Adding Diagnosis Codes to a Client Record
1) Add a diagnosis code to a client's record by navigating to your client's record, then click Medical History in the left navigation menu.
2) Scroll down to the Diagnosis Codes section of the Medical History page.
3) From here, click on the Add code button then select a code from the popup.
4) Once you've added all diagnosis codes, click Save Changes in the top right corner of your screen.
Adding Diagnosis Codes to a Service
You can apply a diagnosis code to a service if you conduct sessions with a particular group of clients with the same diagnosis/condition.
1) Navigate to My Practice > My Services then click on the Edit button next to your service.
2) Click the Advanced Options tab then scroll down to the Diagnosis Codes section.
3) Click on the Add code button and select a diagnosis code from the popup.
4) Click Save Changes in the top-right corner of your screen.
Auto-populating Diagnosis codes in Notes
If you have added a diagnosis code(s) to a service, we'll automatically add this diagnosis code(s) to new notes created for sessions associated with the service.
If no diagnosis code(s) is associated with the service, we'll automatically add the diagnosis code(s) from your client's Medical History (if available).
Auto-populating Diagnosis Codes in Superbills and CMS-1500 Forms
If you're adding a session to an insurance form, we'll automatically add associated diagnosis codes based on the following order of precedence:
- Diagnosis codes from a note associated with the session
- Diagnosis codes from the service associated with the session
- Diagnosis codes from your client's Medical History section
