Pricing and Access
Q: How much does Nutrition Planning cost?
A: The regular price is $15 per practitioner per month. Through December 31, 2026, you can add Nutrition Planning at a special introductory price of $10 per practitioner per month. Starting January 1, 2027, the regular price of $15 per practitioner per month applies to all subscribers. See Getting Started With Nutrition Planning β
Q: Which plans can add Nutrition Planning?
A: Nutrition Planning is an add-on for all paid plans, Starter and above. The account owner adds it from My Subscription.
Q: I joined early access. Will I be charged?
A: Your first month is free, starting the day you added the Nutrition Planning add-on. After your free month, the add-on continues at the introductory price unless the account owner removes it before the free month ends. See Removing the Nutrition Planning Add-On β
Nutrition Planning and That Clean Life
Q: Is Nutrition Planning replacing That Clean Life?
A: No. We're building That Clean Life's nutrition planning into Practice Better, and Nutrition Planning is a lighter-weight first step, not the full That Clean Life experience. Your That Clean Life integration continues to work as it does today, including recipes and plans embedded in your Protocols and Programs.
Q: Can I move my That Clean Life plans into Nutrition Planning?
A: Plans in That Clean Life and plans in Nutrition Planning are separate, so they don't appear in each other. Your That Clean Life plans stay exactly as they are, and you can keep sharing them through your Protocols and Programs.
Q: Do I need a That Clean Life account to use Nutrition Planning?
A: No. Nutrition Planning only needs the add-on in your Practice Better subscription.
Team Plans
Q: Who on my team needs a Nutrition Planning seat?
A: Each team member who creates or edits meal plans needs a seat. Team members without a seat can still view a client's nutrition plan if their role allows it. See Managing Your Nutrition Planning Seats β
Q: What happens to a client's meal plans if I remove a practitioner's seat?
A: The meal plans that the practitioner created are hidden from the client. Meal plans from other practitioners stay visible for the client. If you assign the seat again, their meal plans reappear in the client view.
Q: Who can share a client's nutrition plan?
A: Any team member with access to the client and permission to edit nutrition plans can share the plan or stop sharing it. Sharing always applies to the whole nutrition plan.
Building Meal Plans
Q: Can a client have more than one meal plan?
A: Yes. Each client has one Nutrition Plan, and it can hold as many weekly meal plans as you need. See Managing a Client's Meal Plans β
Q: Why can't I find a recipe I'm searching for?
A: Recipe search follows the meal plan's preferences. Dietary preferences and exclusions leave out recipes that don't fit, so a recipe may be hidden by a preference you set. Check the meal plan's preferences, or try a different search term. See Setting Up a Client's Meal Plan β
Q: Do daily nutrition targets change which recipes I see?
A: No. Targets are for reference only. They show how each day compares to your goals, but they don't filter recipes or affect swaps. See Setting Daily Nutrition Targets in a Client's Meal Plan β
Q: Why are ingredient amounts in cups instead of grams, or grams instead of cups?
A: Recipe and grocery list amounts follow your practice's measurement system setting. Imperial shows US units, and Metric shows grams and liters. See Adjusting your Measurement System Preferences β
Q: Can my client see a template's evidence?
A: No. The Evidence tab is only visible to you while you preview a template. It isn't added to the meal plan or shared with your client.
Clients and Sharing
Q: Does my client see changes I make after I share the plan?
A: Yes. Your client sees changes as you make them, including edits to a meal plan you're still working on. See Sharing a Nutrition Plan With a Client β
Q: Can my client log recipes from their meal plan in their journal?
A: Yes. Recipes from a shared nutrition plan appear under Shared Recipes in your client's Food & Mood Journal. Food entries need to be turned on in their journal. See Shared Recipes in Your Client's Food & Mood Journal β
Q: Can I hide nutrition information from my client?
A: Yes. Select Hide nutrition information when you share the nutrition plan. Your client won't see calories, macros, targets, or recipe tags. See Hiding Nutrition Information From Your Client β
Q: Can my client check off or edit grocery list items?
A: Not at this time. Your client can view each meal plan's grocery list, including your custom items and the items you've checked off, but they can't add, edit, or check off items. See Using the Meal Plan Grocery List β
Q: My client can't find "Nutrition" in their portal anymore. Where did it go?
A: The Nutrition section in the Client Portal is now called Food Library. Your client's foods and recipes are still there under the new name.Β
