Customizing SMS Notifications
The Upcoming Session Reminder and Invitation to Book notification templates also allow you to modify the SMS message. This can be done by clicking the SMS template tab at the top of the popup:
Adding Placeholder Text
Each template has a set of placeholders that you can include in your email subject, title, and email/SMS content body. Whenever notifications are sent, these placeholders are replaced with actual content, such as your client's name, your name, or contextual information like a program/course description if you're working with a Program registration template.
To add placeholder text, click on the placeholder button at the bottom left corner of the text editor:
If you're editing the email subject and title, click the placeholder icon to the right of the textbox to display a list of available placeholders:
Service & Package specific templates
If you want to edit the email notifications per service or package, you can do so from the notification settings per offering.
To access these templates, go to My Practice > My Services > Edit > Notification Options at the bottom of the page > check the box if unchecked, or click Edit template next to the emails you wish to customize.
These templates will override the templates from your Notification preferences page.
