A client's Measurements & Vitals data can be populated manually by the practitioner or automatically by the client through their Lifestyle Journal.
Auto-populating Measurements & Vitals Data
To enable auto-population of the Measurements & Vitals section for new and existing journals:
- Go to your client record and select Journals.
- If the client already has a Journal, you'll be brought to the Journal review page. Click the Edit journals button near the top-right.
- Click Edit next to the Lifestyle Journal.
- Enable the option to Auto-import measurements.
- Click Save near the top-right.
Importing existing measurements
You can manually import journal entry measurements into the Measurements & Vitals section by following these instructions:
- Go to your client record and select Journals.
- If the client already has a Journal, you'll be brought to the Journal review page. Click the Edit journals button near the top-right.
- Click the More Options button (3 dots) next to the Lifestyle Journal.
- Select Import measurements from the options provided
Imported entries will overwrite any measurement data that is currently stored for the same day.
Manually Adding Measurements & Vitals Data
Practitioners can manually enter data in a client's Measurements & Vitals section.
- From your Practice Better dashboard, open the client record whose data you want to enter.
- Once in the client's record, click on the Measurements & Vitals section.
- Use the date picker to select when the measurement was taken.
- There are two tabs for different measurement types. Select either Body & Vitals or Blood.
- Type in the numerical value for the selected measurement in the provided field
- Click Save Changes to record the measurement in the client record.
