Redirect URLs are helpful for guiding clients from one web address to another automatically. In Practice Better, you can leverage redirect URLs to streamline client workflows, especially after they complete forms or book one of your offerings. Below is a step-by-step guide and methods to effectively use redirect URLs with different resources.
Redirecting Clients After Booking
In Services, Packages, or Programs
- Go to My Practice > My Services.
- Click Edit on one of your Services or Packages. 9Learn more about Services and Packages.)
- Enter your desired website address in the Redirect URL field.
- Click Save Changes near the top-right.
In Custom Bookings Pages
You can use a Custom Bookings Page to list specific services, packages, or programs, controlling exactly which of your offerings are displayed.
You can set a Redirect URL for the Bookings Page, which will apply to all items booked through that page. This will override any product-specific redirects and the redirect set in your Bookings Page Settings.
- Click the Settings (gear) icon near the top-right of your portal and select Share my link.
- Click Edit on one of your Public Bookings Pages. (Learn more about creating a new custom booking page.)
- Enter your desired website address in the Redirect URL field.
- Click Save Changes near the top-right.
Redirecting Clients After Completing Forms
You can redirect clients to a 'Thank you' page or another website after they've completed a form.
The redirect option works when clients complete forms from their email, forms shared using your Public Form Link, and forms embedded in your website using a widget.
- Go to your My Practice > Forms & Waivers page.
- For forms created using our Form Builder, click the Additional Options tab:

Enter your link in the Redirect url field.
- For uploaded forms/worksheets, enter the Redirect url directly on the Create/Edit Form page.
