Your practitioner dashboard allows you to quickly access information in your account. This article provides an overview of your dashboard features, including the ability to pin clients, add bookmarks and customize the widgets displayed when you log into your portal.
Adding Widgets to your Dashboard
You can add new widgets to your dashboard by clicking Add widget to dashboard in the top-right corner of your screen:
Widgets can be reordered by clicking the settings icon above the add widgets button. You can also toggle the display of widget content using the collapse/expand button in the top-right corner of the widget:
Removing Widgets
You can remove a widget from your dashboard by clicking the 3 dots and selecting Remove widget from the options provided.
Adding Bookmarks
Use bookmarks to quickly access other websites (e.g. your online supplement dispensary) or even specific pages in your Practice Better portal (e.g. a client's Medical History page).
Click Add bookmark to add a new website link. Bookmarks can be removed by clicking the remove button to the right of the Add bookmark option.
In the mobile app and mobile browsers, you can locate your bookmarks by tapping the 3 lines in the top left corner of your screen:
Tap Bookmarks to view and open your saved bookmarks:
Pinning Clients
Pin clients to your dashboard to quickly access information in their files. Click the button in the top-left corner to pin clients. You can also pin clients from your My Clients page or a client's Recent Activity page.
Opening a Client Hub
If you'd prefer to open a client's Hub (versus going to their Recent Activity page), click on the Client Hub button in the bottom-left corner:
If you have pinned clients on your dashboard, you can optionally press+hold the Shift key on your keyboard and select a pinned client to launch their Client Hub:
Adding New Dashboards
You can create additional dashboards to better organize the information displayed on your home page. For example, you can create a dashboard specifically for booking related information (upcoming sessions, pending requests) or tasks and reminders.
This feature is available in the Plus plan and above.
1) To add a new dashboard, click the New dashboard button to the right of your screen:
2) Provide a name for your dashboard and click Done. You can toggle between dashboards at the top of your screen.
Updating the Default Dashboard
You can change the default (first) dashboard displayed on your portal home page by clicking the Make default button to the right of your screen.
Deleting a Dashboard
Click Delete dashboard to remove a dashboard from your portal homepage:
Resetting Your Dashboard
You can reset your dashboard to the default settings by going to your Settings & Preferences > Portal Preferences page. Click Reset dashboards to restore the default settings.
