Using Practice Better for Telehealth
Practice Better allows you to conduct one-on-one telehealth sessions with your clients. This feature is built into our platform and is completely HIPAA compliant and secure. There is no additional fee associated with this feature.
When you select Practice Better as your Telehealth application, your client will need access to the Client Portal. Once your client has access to the Client Portal, you and your client will need to log into the portal to join the session. Clients can either click on the link provided in their session confirmation or reminder email or log into the Client Portal directly on their mobile device or computer to join their session.
Practice Better telehealth sessions allow you to share your screen during your session and allow you to use the Client Hub to view information and take notes.
You can record your session audio directly in Practice Better using our AI Charting Assistant add-on. A transcript and summary will be available from the recorded session. Recorded sessions can be used to quickly create Notes from session summaries.

Using Zoom for Telehealth
Practice Better also allows you to conduct your telehealth session with our Zoom integration. Our Zoom integration allows you to link an existing Zoom account to the platform.
Our Zoom integration supports one-on-one and group telehealth sessions. When you select Zoom as your telehealth application, a meeting ID will be generated by Zoom that you and your clients can click on.
Clients do not need access to the Client Portal to join these sessions as they are conducted outside of Practice Better. Practice Better will include the Zoom Meeting ID which you and your clients can click on from their confirmation or reminder email or by logging into the Client Portal and viewing their session details.
You are also able to share your screen with clients in Zoom and you are able to record your sessions by using the Record function within the Zoom window.
